Purpose of The Global Liver Council™ (GLC):


Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) or Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASH) is increasingly recognized is one of the most common causes of liver disease worldwide. In order to understand the global impact of this disease, The Global Liver Council was created to include renowned experts from different regions of the world with interest in NASH/MASH to collaborate and exchange their views about this liver disease. Global Liver Council include 42 countries from all the continents across the globe with 135 members. Members of the Council carry out collaborative projects to better understand the burden of NASH/MASH across the globe.
